Limited Warranty
Summit Series · Rev. 2026
This Limited Warranty covers Summit Series systems sold by Cascade Shelter. It protects the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship when the system is installed and maintained according to the Summit Series Installation and Owner’s Manual.
Coverage periods
| Component | Term | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Structural frame | 10 years | Aluminum posts, beams and louvers against manufacturing defects, structural failure and corrosion |
| Finish and powder coat | 5 years | Peeling, cracking or abnormal blistering under normal environmental conditions |
| Electrical systems | 2 years | Motors, control boxes, remote controls and integrated LED lighting |
Coverage starts on the date of installation. This warranty covers replacement or repair of parts. Labor to take down or reinstall the system is covered during the first year of ownership only. Installation workmanship is warranted separately by the installer; Cascade Shelter partner installers warrant their labor for at least one year.
Registration
Register your system within 90 days of installation to activate this warranty. If it is not registered within 90 days, coverage is limited to the minimum required by law. To register, email support@cascadeshelter.store with:
- Proof of purchase: a copy of your original invoice.
- Installation details: the installation date, and the installer’s company name and license number if professionally installed.
- Photos of the finished structure, with close-ups of the foundation mounting points and corner assemblies.
- Confirmation that the system sits on a stable, engineered surface such as a reinforced concrete slab, structural decking or footings.
Professional installation is highly recommended. Whoever installs the system, it must be installed according to the Installation and Owner’s Manual.
What is not covered
- Damage or failures caused by installation that does not follow the manual, including incorrect anchoring, leveling or wiring.
- Wind, snow or seismic loads beyond the rated capacity of the model (Summit Series: 150+ mph wind, 50 psf snow).
- Fire, flood, lightning, hail or falling objects.
- Minor fading or chalking of the powder coat from UV exposure, or salt-spray damage in coastal areas unless a coastal-grade finish was specified.
- Damage to the home or structure the pergola is attached to.
- Improper use, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications or non-approved parts, and normal wear and tear.
Filing a claim
Submit claims within 30 days of discovering the defect. Email support@cascadeshelter.store with your order number and "Warranty Claim" in the subject line. Describe the issue, attach photos or video, and tell us who installed the system. Our technical team reviews the claim and may ask for an on-site inspection or more information. We then replace the part, repair the component or issue a pro-rated refund, at our discretion.
This Limited Warranty is the only warranty Cascade Shelter provides for Summit Series systems, except where stated otherwise in writing. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
